This is a genuine Sierra rs500 cosworth in moonstone blue, only 52 made in this colour & APPX only 25ish left, I have owned it APPX 5yrs , it is a UK car, was taken to Australia in 2003 ish , was kept there until I purchased it & bought it back to the UK, it is back on it's original no plate before it left the UK, it is APPX 450bhp, it has a shoe box full of history, most previous mots bills & list & copy's of previous owners & v5,s, it is hpi clear, APPX 98k miles, usual factory extras, it is in very good condition for age & miles, car was front page featured back in early 2000,s corgi made a diecast replica of my car, car is known & registered with the rs owners club & on the rs500 club, I have owned 9 rs500s in the past so not a messer, px poss delivery etc, cash or bank transfer serious ppl need apply with money no dreemers pl

Almost complete restoration project.  Sitting at around 95% complete.  Parts to be completed fully listed below. 

Full respray including all door shuts engine bay and windows out. 

Underneath was stripped back to the metal and all resealed. It has new rubber trim and jacking points etc that were very hard to get a hold of. 

It requires a new windscreen and tailgate glass as both were damaged during the restoration.

It also requires the rear quarter windows refitted although they are with the car.

The dash is cracked and will require a new one fitted and is currently removed.

It will require a service as it has been sitting for a number of years, although it can be heard running of needs be.

Sold as is.  Being an appreciating classic it is priced keenly as once completed it will be one of the best available

Sellers Comments - Ford Sierra RS Cosworth 1987. Absolutely stunning example which has been recently imported from New Zealand where they drive on the left hand side of the road.  The car is in remarkably good condition underneath having resided in a temperate climate and there is no evidence of the underside of the car been welded, unlike most Cosworth Sierras with have seen over the years.  Totally stripped and painted in July 2017 and gleaming in every area and the wheels are in pristine condition also.  Superb original interior with everything you would want from a standard specification vehicle of this calibre.  There are not many of these around in such good condition. Fully serviced and MOT’d.

We have seen many of these cars-very few are in the league of this one. A vehicle for the serious enthusiast or collector, this example will withstand any level of scrutiny. Presented in gleaming Diamond White metallic with sumptious original Recaro interior. The vehicle has covered zero miles since a professional bare metal respray and the level of finish and attention to detail really does need to be seen to be believed. The windscreen is brand new, therefore it shows none of the signs of delamination that lesser examples often do. All 5 alloy wheels have been professionally refinished and the black exterior rubber trims have all been replaced with brand new items at tremendous expense. The vehicle presents amazingly well. This has been a labour of love and it really shows in the finished product. The engine was subject to a recent rebuild, cambelt change and gasket renewal and runs really sweetly. The history file that comes with the vehicle is fantastic and exhaustive; the MOT history check and old certificates certify the mileage as accurate. Even present with the huge file of bills and invoices is the original RS Cosworth brochure and pricelist. The interior shows no sign of the trademark sag that is so often displayed in other examples. The seat bolsters are in fantastic condition, the headlining is brand new and the sunroof trims are in excellent condition. The car runs, idles and boosts and stops as well as any example we have owned and the sympathetic recent restoration really is a sight to behold. A genuine credit to it's previous keeper, this really is an extraordinary example of 80's cool not to be missed.

This is a totally standard 3 door Ford Sierra Cosworth, aside from a stainless steel exhaust system. It has covered 49,900 miles from new with a fully stamped up service book. It is motd until May 2019. I have just had the wheels refurbed as the lacquer was beginning to lift on a couple of them,and a brand new set of tyres fitted. The car is unmarked inside  with only one small crack in the dash which is hardly noticeable. Everything works as it should. Outside the white paintwork is as far as I know all original and totally unmarked. The car drives perfectly and has always been garaged. I have owned the car for four years and am only selling it because I have bought something  else,less noticeable ! Without sounding rude, I am not going to answer a million emails. If you are genuinely interested , come and see for yourself. The car is located in Hampshire. I am not a mechanic, so l have been as honest as I can with my description. Bank transfer only. Built and first registered to Ford's Competition Department in Cologne 1987. 

Factory Build Number 0007. RHD. Currently has 23,100 miles from new. Current ownership since 2007 - of which the Car has been in storage for the majority of that time.

Offered with a collection of old MOT certificates, sundry paper work, original service book plus sales brochure. As well as a fun little scaled down Model of a Nimco Race Track Car.
