Sierra Cosworth RS500 & Sierra Sapphire 4x4 Cosworth - £70000

Well I,ve decided its time to sell my pride and joy, my 2 Sierra Cosworths, these 2 cars have been a major project for the last 17yrs, they have been lovingly restored & developed by myself. I have competed with both cars in Hill Climb events at the Hagley & District Light Car Club venue Loton Park. I have had many class wins with the RS500 and a personnel best of 57:29 seconds over a distance of 1349 meters. We have been up against many 4 wheel drive cars and beaten them, the old girls have done me proud. Both cars Have Been Cover Car For Fast Ford Magazine Plus the RS500 Has Featured in PPC Magazine, And The Sapphire Has Featured In The Members Magazine For The BRSCC. I have achieved what I set out to do with both cars and now its time to give someone else the chance to own these 2 beauty's. The Special Thing About The Sapphire Is that It Was the Only White 4x4 Cosworth Press Car Ever Released By Ford, As confirmed By Ford, It Was On Loan for 17 Months To The BRSCC Where It Was Used By The John Nichol The BRSCC Chief Executive And Clerk Of The Course As The Pace Car. The Car Would Have Carried The BRSCC Logos.

I bought this car with the intention of restoring her to a high standard
But I have a rs turbo that is taken all my time and money !
Plus struggling for storage !

This car was off the road for 17 years
The previous owner was trying to get it of the owner for many years as it was just lying in his garage 
He eventually got the chance to purchase the car
It has only covered 45000 miles
And only has 3 registered owners !
Sadly there was no service history passed on
Got lost over the 17 years car was sitting for !
The previous owner got the car fully painted (excellent job)
Replaced brake pipes
Brakes ect
Had to get some welding to floor (33year old ford )
The bodywork on this Sierra is excellent no dents or rust !
He also replaced the interior with Cosworth leather (door panels need couple clips and couple bits of plastic !
He also put freshly powder coated Cosworth wheels with brand new tyres 
Stainless exhaust 
And a petrol tank and fuel lines 
Sump gasket has a leak (I have new gasket)
Fuel gauge not working
