1987 Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth WOW! Very Rare Car... ex-Ford Competition Dept Car

What a beauty! Just arrived...

Built and first registered to Ford's Competition Department in Cologne 1987.

Factory Build Number 0007. RHD. Currently has 23,100 miles from new. Current ownership since 2007 - of which the Car has been in storage for the majority of that time.

Offered with a collection of old MOT certificates, sundry paper work, original service book plus sales brochure. As well as a fun little scaled down Model of a Nimco Race Track Car.

This very interesting fast Ford, build number 007, is one of just 500 righthand drive RS500 'Homologation Specials' created for the company by Aston Martin Tickford, with the aim of making the already highly competitive Sierra Cosworth 'unbeatable on the race tracks'.

Sellers Comments - The Ford Sierra RS Cosworth is a high-performance version of the Ford Sierra that was built by Ford Europe from 1986 to 1992. It was the result of a Ford Motorsport project with the purpose of producing an outright winner for Group A racing in Europe. One of the last RS500 to be made. It also had undergone the complete ground up restoration. RS500 has been to bare metal and fully restored, the car has covered 58,000 miles with a fully documented Ford Service Book, hand books and pictures of the restoration.
